 Thin, Thick, and Structural Repair Mortars

CORU RM is a cement-based, polymer and fiber-reinforced repair mortar produced in three different types: thin, thick, and structural with aggregate, according to preference. It is a crack-resistant repair mortar used for non reinforced concrete repairs, suitable for both indoor and outdoor manual application, and possesses excellent water vapor permeability.

Suitable Application Areas:

  • Used as a repair and leveling mortar on the interior and exterior surfaces of all concrete structures.
  • Applied on walls and ceilings as a concrete repair and leveling mortar.
  • Used for forming chamfers with structural repair mortar at concrete joints before waterproofing.
  • Structural repair mortar is also used for filling tie rod holes in concrete.
  • Can be used as a repair plaster on surfaces before granite ceramic installation

APPLICATION
  • The application area surface must be cleared of substances that will prevent adhesion such as mold oil, dust, slag, paint, and swollen surfaces (such as cement, plaster and concrete residue) must be scraped off.
  • The surface should be wetted and kept moist so that there is no puddle of water.
STORAGE, PACKAGING, CONSUMPTION
  • 25kg of TH-100 REPAIR MORTAR in powder form should be added to 5 to 6 It of medium temperature water and mixed with a low speed mixer until no lumps remain. The mixture, which is left for 5 minutes, should be mixed for another 2 minutes to become homogeneous.
  • The application is made to the surface with a trowel with a thickness of 1-5 mm.
  • For a thicker application, a second coat should be applied and the first coat should be waited for to dry completely.
  • The most effective factor to be considered during the application process and setting time is the weather conditions. Necessary precautions should be taken in weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature and rain or frost, and if necessary, the application should not be done.
