CORUNEX THIOSEAL PREMIER

Polysulphide Based Primer

A single component, resin-solvent based high adherence primer.

Suitable Areas of Application

  • Applied to absorbent surfaces such as concrete, screed and plaster.
  • Used in places where polysulphide paste is used, especially in concrete joints, to ensure better adhesion of concrete and paste.
APPLICATION
  • Both sides of the joints are taped to prevent primer contamination.
  • THIOSEAL PREMIER is applied to both sides of the joint with a clean brush and the tapes are removed.
  • Wait for the primer to dry completely.
  • Joint depth is limited with PE-based wick or similar.
  • Then, polysulphide based joint filler is applied.
STORAGE, PACKAGING, CONSUMPTION
  • It should be stacked up to 2 layers in its original packaging.
  • It should be stored in a closed area.
  • Necessary precautions must be taken against water, humidity, frost and severe weather conditions.
  • It should be stored on a pallet and in a dry place between +10°C and +25°C.
  • Punctured, opened and burst buckets should be closed or used immediately.
  • If the specified storage conditions are observed, the storage life is 12 months.
  • Consumption is 0.150-0.200 kg/m2. Packaging is 1 kg tin can.
SAFETY AND WARNINGS
  • It is not suitable for use under pressurized water, on glass and glazed surfaces, underground where there is high hydrostatic pressure, or on paint.
  • Freshly applied material should not be exposed to rain or frost for 24 hours.
  • CORUPU LINE should not be applied in rainy and foggy weather below (+) 5°C. It should not be applied to wet and frozen surfaces.
  • Pay attention to the safety signs and warnings on the packaging.
  • The health and safety information specified in the Product Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prepared by a certified technical team in accordance with international standards (ECDirective 2001/58/EC) regarding the product must be followed.
  • Adequate ventilation should be provided in workshops, and open flames and high temperatures should be avoided.
  • Stir well before application. Do not leave the lid of the package open.
  • Avoid application in weather conditions where rain is expected or under rain.
  • It should not be brought into contact with skin, eyes and mouth, and the application should be carried out by taking the necessary work safety precautions.
  • Avoid applying at temperatures below (+) 5°C and above (+) 30°C, do not try to use frozen material by adding water to it.
