APPLICATION
Surface preparation: Mechanical surface preparation (blastrack, rotatiger etc.) should be
done. The dust layer formed should be swept with industrial vacuum cleaners, the surface to
be applied should be solid, dry and clean. Any dust, oil, paraffin, bitumen and adherence
reducing parts that will prevent adhesion to the surface should be cleaned and all loose parts
such as mortar, plaster etc. should be cleaned from the surface. Concrete quality should be at
least C20 / 25, 28 days old. The tensile strength of the reinforced concrete surface should be
1.5 N/mm², humidity rate should be 4%, and the ground surface temperature should be +8 ºC.
The success of the application depends on the correct preparation of the ground and the
correct use of the material. Abrasion and roughening process is carried out with the method to
be selected according to the condition of the surface. The surface is completely cleaned of
dust with an industrial vacuum cleaner and made ready for application.
Mixing Method: CORU PU-M 106 is a two-component product supplied as a set according to
the mixing ratio. In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, care should be taken to ensure
that the product temperature is between +15°C - +25°C. Considering the pot life of the two
components, the amount to be consumed should be prepared in accordance with the mixing
ratio (should be done with a precision scale). Component A (resin) should be mixed with a
low-speed mixer and then component B (hardener) should be added, paying attention to the
mixing ratio. Components A and B should be mixed with a low-speed mixer for at least 3
minutes until they become homogeneous.
Application: Packages that have been kept at room temperature (+15°C - +25°C) for 24
hours should be opened and mixed until a homogeneous consistency is reached. The mixing
process must be done by selecting a low speed mixer and a suitable tip. CORU PU-M 106 is
applied homogeneously to the surface with a fine notched trowel, short-haired roller or brush,
controlling the material consumption. The material should be protected against water, rain,
external factors and mechanical stresses until it sets. It should be kept in mind that the waiting
period may be shorter in hot weather and longer in cold weather.
